Number Plates

Hi
the number plates on my husbands BMW
were stolen yesterday, went to the guardia civil and they issued the
denucia, ok so what do I need to do to replace the number plates and
do I need any documents my husband is away can I still do this
without him. Would appreciate any help on this, as I know cant
drive the car till this is sorted.
